Hafez Farmayan's interview conducted by Manoutchehr Eskandari-Qajar on 5 February 2010. He shares his memories of family members, acquaintances, and the daily life and rituals of people in the Qajar era. Hafez Farmayan describes the life of his Father (ʻAbd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma) in his estate in Tehran, his childhood memories of his mother and other co-wives, and his siblings and other people living on the estate. The plan of this estate is also drawn by Farmayan and it is included as an item in this collection.

Husayn al-Husayni reports to ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma about several events, including a contagious disease in Najaf, Karbala’, and Kazimayn and the battle happening in Mandalij and inquiries about it. The author also writes about the story of a woman who asks Ahmad Khan to help her get divorced from her ill Ottoman husband. Ahmad Khan had given her a place to stay but then he and his son raped her. After her complaint, Ahmad Khan and his son were expelled from Mandalij. ‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar's death in Berlin has been announced to the newspapers and his inheritors have been confirmed as follows: Zahra Sultan Nizam Mafi (‘Izzat al-Saltanah), his wife; ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma’iyan, his father; Fatimah Khanum ’Izzat al-Dawlah, his mother; Huma Khanum and Taj al-Muluk Khanum Farmanfarma’iyan, his older daughters; and his minor children, ‘Izzat al-Muluk Khanum, Mihri Khanum, Bahram Mirza, and Bahman Mirza.
